1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Shaadi Sheets regarding your use of the shaadisheets.com website, the web application, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. By signing up, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. The Service
Shaadi Sheets is a wedding planning platform built for multi-day South Asian weddings. Features include event and date planning, guest-list management, budget and expense tracking, vendor and venue management, RSVP collection, and AI-assisted planning via Rayna. We add, change, and remove features continuously as we improve the product.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for every action taken under your account. Notify us immediately at support@shaadisheets.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You are also responsible for any Inner Circle members you invite and for the permissions you grant them.
5. Free Trial
Paid plans begin with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan will begin and we will charge the card on file for the first billing period on day 8. You can cancel at any time during the trial from Account Settings → Subscription.
6. Subscription, Billing, and Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions are offered on a Monthly, Season Pass, or Annual basis (and, for early users, discounted "Founding Member" plans). All fees are in USD unless otherwise shown. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate unless you cancel beforehand. We will send you renewal reminders and receipts by email. If we increase the price of a renewing plan, we will notify you at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
Failed payments. If a charge fails, we will retry per Stripe's standard retry schedule and email you. If payment is not resolved, we may suspend access until it is.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings → Subscription. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period, and then your account will move to a paused state with your data preserved for 90 days. We do not prorate or refund unused time on a cancelled subscription.
8. Refunds
Refunds are handled manually on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to request a refund, email support@shaadisheets.com within 14 days of the charge you are disputing and describe the reason. We review every request individually and typically respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear.
9. Your Content
Everything you enter into the Service — guest lists, vendors, notes, images, and so on — belongs to you. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service for you and the Inner Circle members you invite. You represent that you have the right to share with us any personal information of others that you add to the Service (guests, vendors, family members).
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or mirror the Service except where applicable law explicitly permits it.
- Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages to guests or vendors.
- Circumvent rate limits or other technical restrictions.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
11. Rayna and AI Features
Rayna, our AI assistant, generates suggestions and content automatically. AI output can be wrong, biased, or outdated. Always verify important planning details — dates, costs, vendor information, religious or cultural practices — before acting on them. Rayna is not a substitute for legal, medical, religious, or financial advice.
12. Third-Party Vendors and Links
Our Vendor Matchmaker and Vendors pages may surface third-party businesses. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third-party vendor's work, pricing, safety, or conduct. Your contract with any vendor you hire is solely between you and them.
13. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and content we create (not your content), is owned by Shaadi Sheets and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
14. Beta and Founding-Member Features
Features marked "beta" or offered to Founding Members are provided as-is, may change or be removed without notice, and may carry bugs. Feedback you share about beta features is non-confidential and we may use it to improve the Service.
15. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. Some laws, including Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 for consumer agreements, do not allow certain warranties or conditions to be excluded; where they apply, these exclusions apply only to the extent the law allows.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shaadi Sheets and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or wedding-day outcomes, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $100.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Shaadi Sheets against claims arising out of your content, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your violation of any third-party right.
18. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by cancelling and optionally deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms or if continuing to serve you would expose us to legal risk. If we terminate without cause, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused portion of your current billing period.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
Shaadi Sheets is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved in the courts of Ontario sitting in Toronto, and you and we submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If you use the Service as a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away any right you have under the consumer-protection laws of the province or country where you live that cannot be waived by contract — including, in Ontario, the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 — and where those laws give you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, you keep that right. Nothing in this section limits either party's right to seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property or confidentiality matters, or your right to bring a claim in Small Claims Court where eligible.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice and update the "Last updated" date above. Changes take effect 14 days after notice, or immediately for changes required by law. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
